Technology isn't something that a teacher should only use in class, and there are so many other ways that they can use technology to make positive contributions to their community.
Teachers can also utilize technology to aid in their own personal growth as educators. With technology, they can connect and learn from educators in their community and all over the world. They have the ability to network with others and learn from those with more experience and vice versa.
Educators can also become more knowlegable about what's going on in the world by using technology, and they can pass this knowledge along to their studetns. By learning about global issues and different perspectives on issues, teachers can become more well-rounded in terms of knowledge, and when they benefit from using technology, so do their students.
